You can gain a lot of friends by being beautiful and succesful?

Well true u can get friends, but the question is will they be true friends? When you loose your fame and beauty, will they still be there.

The virtual world and the real world are two different entities. And can be extreme opposites in nature. Anyway, thought it's always easier to gain friends when you are beautiful and successful in life. I'm not prejudging here or questioning the integrity and sincerity of our friends. But how many of these would sustain as friends during your darkest hours. If they do they are your true friends. But for this discussion, I'm sure there are people who may just want to take advantage of us. Associating ourselves with the friends we have would most likely make us as one too.

At least in social networking sites, I see that as true in some way because your profile picture attracts more people. My friend is kinda like that. She has over a thousand friends in Facebook. But I don't know for sure if it's her who adds friends or it's the people who add her, but the latter is more likely. I hope in reality people don't focus much on superficial qualities.

basically, we are just like rats in a race. the more succesful and beautiful you are, the more you magnetize people towards you. people are uncontented and being different among others put you on top.
