Bible Reading Every Day In May  |

|  I was thinking about how many people want to read the Bible every day, but just don't because other things get in the way. What if those of us who want to be consistent reading the Bible daily did it together. It would certainly help if we were accountable to each other. So what do you think? Is there anyone who wants to join me in reading the Bible every day in May?
A reasonable goal such as reading the Bible for 10 minutes daily is a great place to start. I just finished my Bible reading for the first day in May and hope to complete my goal to read the Bible every day this month!
Anyone want to do it with me? We can post here when we read the Bible each day! Let me know if you decide you would like to read the Bible every day with me!

| |  Great idea, accountability is great for Christian brothers and sisters. I think it would be most helpful to read the same passages, that way eveyone is on the same page as far as topic. It be much like a regular bible study at church. I would gladly join you.

| |  I agree that i don't pick up my bible often enough. Though for some months (i admit i have not been in the habit of late) I did listen to a wonderful little thing called pray-as-you-go each day. They are a Christian group who do a daily mp3 reflection on the churches set reading for the day. NB. that usually follws a book of the bible. Although i didn't pick up my bible or log onto sites such as youversion to actually read the words i did hear them twice and i couldn't skim the passage as i wasn't in control of the speed. if you want to try it out each reflection lasts just over 10 minutes.
I'm off to download this weeks, typing about it reminded me how much i liked it!

| |  well, it takes some amount of time and a lot of discipline. for i tell you, there will be a lot of distractions that will come. but it is all worth it.!

| |  I understand that Genesis is the most widely read book in the Bible because people start out with the goal of reading the Bible through but get side tracked even before they reach the end of that book. I study by subject matter. I hope you are able to carry out your worthy goal.
