Is it fair to implement Duckwort Lewis (D/L) method in a 20 over match?

D/L method becoming a villan in this tournaMENT, it decides the winner in the way it likes, thats what i have felt about the method.
I always belive that it makes the tema defeat which would have won the match.
D/L never decrease the wickets when they reduce the target.
yesterday two match result was made using this rubbish method.
In amatch were WI would have probably lost chasing a huge a very good total, they become the winner by their performance of 5.5 overs.is it fair?
and the match zimbawe lost could have been in the other way if they ahve played the allowed overs, the main disadvantage the zimbawe had was that their runrate went down to -2, which wont have happen if they have palyed the match in full overs. now they are virtually out of the tournament
and T20 is a mini cricket, its already made small and how can you judge the match with just 5 overs? D/L should not be used atleast for t20.

talking about fairness, where is the fairness to decide the winner in just 3 overs?i supported ireland from the way they bowled and should have won the match if it weren't for duckworth/luwis

surely ireland would have won that match, how can we decide the result of a match in 5 overs, that too in a format in which the match changes in a single over!
its spoiling the thrill of 20 over cricket.

I don't think D/L method is fair in T20 matches.i think a better method should be invented that is suitable for both the teams.
Most of the times the fate of the match changes.
Also the rule that 5 overs of play is enough for an innings seems ridiculous to me. .T20 is a short form of game and just 5 overs of cricket enough to declare the winner!!? i think at least 10 overs should be considered.
Anyhow the host team WI is lucky this time!!

ya this spoils the joy of T20 cricket, deciding a match in just 5 overs in not all acceptable.
D/L always make the winning team a lossing side.
It is not making that much problem in 50 overs but in 20 overs its not at all satisfactory.
