Is Dance India Dance an original concept?  

I think its an original concept. I have not heard of any program which has the format that Dance India Dance has. So as far as I know, Dance India Dance is a original concept.

Foe those who have watched the originals what our fellows are doing here by copying is a real sh-t.Our guys have lost their originality long time back.All they do is blindly aping the Hollywood and shamelessly being proud of Indians.Lousy attitude of the,As long as the people are suckers for these monkeys this show will go on.

No, Dance India Dance is not original. It is copied from another reality show “So you think you can dance”, shown on AXN. In this reality, show contestants compete and vie with each other to be named nations favorite dance. The contestants are made to dance with different partner in different styles. In DID the dancers sometimes perform solo. Their versatility is put to severe test. Dance forms there too include salsa, hip-hop, jazz to ballet. Panel of judges sit just the same way they sit in DID and judges eliminate the weakest performers and finally the views choose the best performers. Only difference is, in “So You Think You Can Dance”, only one couple is crowned the best dance; but in DID only one individual is selected as a winner. Therefore , I say ‘Dance India Dance’ too is not an original concept. You can see more about it by searching through google.

Nope Dance India Dance is a copied version of so you think you can dance which is being aired in AXN---i love these two shows though---as you can see a contrary in both of these dance shows---One deals with dances from all over the world but DID has more Indian flavours---to be frank the standards are quiet for SYTYCD.On the whole they're good shows---At the end of the day what matters the most is if they're really entertaining the audience or not.There are far better than those never ending Serials .great day.
