redhat linux-based program and linux o.s. in laptops-incompatible?pls help me  

i am having some problems loading a redhat linux-based business permit and licensing program to a linux o.s. laptop..the initial loading is quite okey but then the pictures/ graphics starts to blur and all you see is the green background and everything stops from there.. when downloaded on a desktop pc however, the same program runs quite smoothly..the laptop as with the desktop pc is also an IDE, with linux as its operating system...maybe there is something in the desktop pc that is lacking or incompatible in the laptop? the laptop i used has a 2G memory.. can anyone help me on this ? is there something that i should know more about this? pls help me
