Jesus Cross, Holy Cross.  

of course i not believe that our lord jesus has taken away all our suffering and he still alive.the only thing is we can enjoy the heavenly reward and blessings

Speaking as a roman catholic in religion, I don't believe that if a house has a cross 'holy cross' inside, it will bring them sufferings just like Jesus had.
In my religious belief, Jesus suffered from carrying the holy cross and accepted it with His all heart and full of love. Holy cross is said to be a wood where all ours sins are in. And these sins are not paid by us but He did. He carried it, fell down with it, crucified in it and died in it with all of his willingness and heartedness just for us. To save us from our sins.
Having cross inside a house can actually help us from reminding the sacrifices that Jesus had done for us. Through that, we can actually remember on how and what can we share for all the sacrifices that Jesus had done for us.

The Crucifix, the cross with the Corpus Christi on it, is used by the Catholic churches (both Roman and Orthodox) to remind us that Christ suffered and died for our sins. The Protestants use a plain cross because they think it symbolizes that Christ rose from the dead.

Maybe in your country it is believed to be as you say, but it isn't the case in the west.

i don't believe in that. The Holy Cross reminds us of how Jesus chooses His life to end in that way just for our salvation. cross reminds us of the love Jesus has for us. Jesus lowered Himself just to save us because He loves us. have a nice day!

In the Talmud it is written that Jesus was stoned by the Romans before being hanged on the Cross. At that time stoning was taking a very big stone about 2 meters and throw it at somebody. Which means that the death was instant, only a few seconds. After that, the Roman put Jesus on the cross when he was already dead.
It is written in Jewish Law that someone dead must be burried immediatly to avoid humiliation. The Romans put the body of Jesus on the cross in order to humiliate him, like they did for everyone who revolted against the Roman Empire, like the gladiators for example.
I know that in some hospitals, Muslims or Jews have the right to ask to take out the cross from the wall. Also Dracula, but this is only in funny movies.

It is a matter of personal belief. I don’t have any crosses in my house; we used to have one but I don’t know where it is now. Having said that I wouldn’t mind having one because I see it more as protection than a reminder of suffering. I see the crucifix as a positive symbol although I’m not sure where mine is!

i don't think it brings sufferings at home. we have an old wooden Holy Cross at home. having that means that the people living there honor their God and His sufferings for our salvation.

I never heard that before. I don't have anything that might be considered an image especially for worship as the commandments say we shouldn't. I don't even have a picture of Christ up on display. I don't really know what he looks like except that he had shoulder length hair, that it probably was dark and he had a beard. We know that he was not good looking but no doubt had darker skin like the Jews of that region. He may have been of a stronger build than he is pictured as he grew up in his father's carpenter shop. Some people may say that having pictures up of any kind are images and maybe they are right. I do have pictures up of my family but I don't bow down to them or even pause before them or pray to them as I believe the dead know nothing.
