do you really know all the people behind the names in your phonebook? a friend of mine keeps on coming back after partying at clubs, etc.. with new names & numbers in his phonebook, and he doesn't even recall who they are, but he keeps them there just to fill up his phonebook. do you keep numbers of unknown people in your phonebook? or only people you know? will anybody want my number in their phonebook? :) thanks & happymyLotting !

I know every single one of them, sweetie. It is only friends and family. I would never keep an unknown person on my phonebook. Give me another 100 years or so, then i will take your number, okay. TATA.

awww.....pity you :( having the sniffles too? try this:- close your eyes, pinch your nose with your left index finger and thumb, turn your head to the left, and bend to the right, and repeat the words 'abracadabra gobble-dee-dum'... if it doesn't cure your cold, it sure give you a shot of laughter..hehe.. :)

Oh. Nice discussion. My phonebook always puzzles me to find that proper person exists in my book. I have to rub my head a lot and force my brain to get a result. Oh what a headache.

oh so you also filled your phonebook with unknown names? or just confused on how / what name did you gave her/him(friend) in your phonebook? I do know the people in my phonebook. I can also detect that if there's a deleted number or change. We couldn't avoid that there are lost people who are texting you and to make you aware of it the next time , I then include their numbers and tagged them to a name which I could easily remember her/him. Am I strange if I do name people according to my own ways. Example, I categorized them like friends, co-workers,family like that...If I got your number I'll registered it as ---- mlot-frnd shibham. Laugh...laugh! having a great day.

I only keep number of people I know. I have two sim cards, those on my Globe simcard I know all of the people listed there but some of them we lost touch already. On my other sim I only have few people with the same network. In totalled, i know all of the people listed on my phonebook. I name people who send me message as anonymous everytime i have new number listed on my phone book.

If it is anonymous I do not entertain their calls or text.

My phonebook is full of people I know, whether they are friends, family, coworkers, ect I know them. Every so often I go through and delete numbers of ppl that I dont need. I figure if I havent used the number in an entire month I dont really need it.

I only prefer keeping the contact numbers which are required only. I have several numbers which sometimes seems useful but my memory is good. I nearly have remembered all the numbers in my cellphone contacts. I never keep useless contact numbers and don't try to save unknown numbers.

well i only keep numbers of friends and family in my phone book. It is better to keep an empty phone book because we can easily find the number we need. I had added a lots of friends on facebook now it turns out there are thousands of them and i cannot even access updates of my close friends because they always gets swamped.

that's a good thing to do.. but some of those who are more into the socializing scene usually do end up with more numbers in their phone book than they need.. thanks for your response esteria

Hi. mario_stevens. I only have people in my phone book that I know or that I know of. I don't just collect peoples names and phone numbers just for the heck of it. That can be risky in way.

yup i know the people i add in my phonebook. i dont readily give out my phone number and i don't easily ask as well. if a number is not registered in my phone book, i just ask who then we'll see if I add it. but if it's those "can we be textmates" type of texts, then i dont add.

i wish some people were as sensible as you are. i've met quite a number of people who are so free with their own number, and don't mind having anyone's number in their phone. i found out that some spammers are moving to spam sms, and this is one of the ways they get new numbers too.. yup, better be a bit diligent with who we give our number out to.. by the way, thanks for the reply :)

I only save those that I really know. I don't keep numbers of unknown people in my phonebook. They just use valuable space in my phone's memory!
