Help me -- php code experts -- small trouble, but I want some help

I have tried my hand at creating a website, and have done well to my standards. Then, I have downloaded the entire PHP bulletin board software, and tried to tweek it to my expectations. And, then, purchased some domain names, and domain hosting packages.. My website and forum are now HOSTED. all is well, but..... the forum gives out a blank page in internet explorer 8. the good part is, it is working well, i am able to login through GOOGLE CHROME browser. Please give some general tips to learn how to detect the trouble. thanks in advance.
