The Drivers Installation  

The problem is " ghrrrrr". First of all, are you sure you download the exact driver from the homepage of the hardware? Then what rests? Check if there are installed another audio driver(uninstall if there is). You can turn on the windows update - it downloads automatically the needed drivers. You can try this little free software

If this does not help you may reinstall the OS and you should open the case and check the audio card, is everything looks well.

Write here the model of your audio card and your OS I should check for something :)

then do onething that u download fomnet the audio driver take ur computer serial no from setup and then install

There can be many reasons either the driver files are corrupted or it there might be a virus in you computer which is not allowing the driver to get installed or if you are using windows see weather you are using the driver for correct version of windows ie if you are using windows xp the drivers must be for windows xp. You can also do is reinstall the OS once more and try installing the driver once more...

A small suggestion. Scan your system for antivirus. If some virus exist whatever drivers we try to install it will give the same message like "installation failed" I had the same problem.

I had problems in the past where i couldn't install anything but after several hours of looking into the system i found WINDOWS INSTALLER was DISABLED.This happened loads of times(put it down to some annoying little toerag infecting my pc with a bug)TO TURN IT BACK ON CLICK ON (START)THEN (CONTROL PANEL) THEN (ADMINISTRIVE TOOLS) THEN IN THE NEW WINDOW CLICK (SERVICES SHORTCUT) THEN SCROLL DOWN THE ALPHABETICAL LIST AND (DOUBLE CLICK ON WINDOWS INSTALLER) A SMALL WINDOW WILL APPEAR with a description of what it does.underneath that is a box that says(STARTUP TYPE)click on the arrow to the right of the box.click on (AUTOMATIC)then click on(OK)at the bottom of the window. !!!!JOB DONE!!!!
To stop this happening again i installed McAFFEE INTERNET SECURITY SUITE it's not free or cheap but i've had no problems since 2004.If you do buy it at the very least download (MICROSOFT SECURITY ESSENTIALS)otherwise it will be just like walking down CANAL STREET in MANCHESTER with your pants round your ankles(HOMOSEXUAL HOTSPOT,"BEGGING TO BE INFECTED").Hope this helps.safe online surfing mate.

simple go to ur computer market and get a new driver or downoad it from intel.com or just google it
