Let us guide the Newbies here at MyLot.  

The trouble is that most newbies have not read the guidelines or FAQs ask questions answered in the guidelines and FAQs and then have their discussion deleted. Why should I risk having a response deleted and having that dollar also deleted from me? You risk a zero response if your question is that naive. Where newbies like you have done their research the question is not usually naive and will thus get a response.

First of all, welcome to myLot.

Newbies or not, all are welcome here. But, the most important thing is to know the rules and regulations here. Most of it are covered in guidelines and frequently asked questions (FAQs) but most of the newbies and some senior here fail to read and followed it. And that is why a lot of discussions being deleted and earnings from that discussions deducted. Some posts also did not earn anything because of it is too short and does not mean anything.

Thinking that they could earn a lot of money here also make some members here frustrated. Money that we earn here would not enough for us for living. It is merely just as an extra. People get frustrated when they only earn pennies for their efforts. Most of the seniors here can stay long because they were not motivated by the earnings but more to the knowledge and friendship. This is a social networking after all. Of course they could earn a lot from here too but they need to do a lot of tasks (if available) or has a lot of active referrals.

When you try to help the newbies, and tell them to read the guide lines, they don't listen they post what they want to, and break Mylot rules, post links when they are not suppose to, so how can you help people like this, that won't listen I have just stopped trying because, there no use in help a hard headed person, and I won't have my points deleted, from answering a bad discussion.

Before i was a newbie and i know it is hard to cope up with the guidelines.. hahah because i always broke the rules before and the only thing that bothers me is some people are missunderstanding this newbies.. they are new here and they should be help.. i know there questions are kinda ovious but they really don't know what to do and the only thing that can help them are the experts out here in mylot.. =) ............ ...... so lets help each other as a family not a team o money makers......

I suggest that you read first the Faqs of mylot. And you are right about writing and responding with quality content. There are so many ways on how will you earn from mylot so better read the Faqs to guide you correctly.

You will learn the rules and tricks as you keep on posting and interacting with members. I learned a few things by myself and the only way to earn a little bit more is to post quality responses and discussions. Posts should not be less than three lines, but the longer the discussion is, the better.

you are right, here what is important is the quality of the responses you make not the quantity. you have to make a good one to earn a good one also. so to newbies here, go for the quality not the quantity. good luck and enjoy you journey in mylot. have a nice day!
