FTP Host  

FTP is the acronym for file transfer protocol. This is a much better way to copy files from your computer to your web server. You will need a program called an FTP client like FileZilla to use FTP.

What makes FTP particularly useful is that it gives the webmaster a way to give access to certain parts (i.e., directory) of the web server to other people without giving them the top-level password to the account itself.

Often, copying files via FTP is also faster or more efficient because you can select multiple files and copy them in bulk. Most HTTP-based file copying is done one file at a time.

To get help you need to know the right questions to ask.
Step 1 Have you bought a domain name?
Step 2 Have you arranged web Hosting for your domain, if not, then that is the next step.
Step 3 When you set up the hosting you will be sent 1 or 2 emails telling you the FTP details for your account.
Step 4 Send the Host's Support Team emails when you need help. They are very good and they are paid to help Newbies.
