this season is not that exciting   

yes i agree, ellen was chosen so that the american idol can get attention. i guess they are losing their touch already. i can not believe that this year the contestant they chose was not remarkable not like the years before. and it was so exciting when daughtry was eliminated when everyone knows that he was a great one. but now i just dont care who gets eliminated there was no one to watch out. i am more interested on who is the mentor and what will ellen be saying. thanks a lot for the response. one more thing i no longer watch the elimination i just look at the news on the net.

me too. actually, i don't even watch the whole performance show :) i just watch it during commercial breaks of whatever i'm watching at the moment :)

the state by state was always fun, there are a lot of funny people to watch out for. i also believe that seeing adam lambert last year they have to beat that kind of level of contestant. so this year was left as a boring group. i can not believe that as early as this year adam lambert became a mentor. proves only that he was really talented but the contestant were boring. thanks a lot for the response

i remember one girl who auditioned who was screaming, not singing. she cried so hard when she was rejected because everyone told her she's good and that she's been in school productions. she actually had 2 vocal coaches but it was obvious even to someone who can't sing like me that she was singing from her 'throat' and her voice was quite 'thin,' no 'body.' it was unbelievable! (see i don't even know the proper words!)

contestant are more on the acoustic side, i guess maybe thats one of the reason why it became boring. i am not against of that but seeing all the contestant with the same genre all in one show of looking for the best talent ever is no longer exciting. not like last year were cris allen was on the acoustic mellow side and adam lambert is more on the rock side. there is something to watch out for. this seasons contestant has nothing really new to offer. they can not even own a song just like david cook. and the ratings of idol is not that high anymore compare from the pass seasons. thanks a lot for the response

i am not that watching it before but my wife does. i started focusing on the show on the season where jordin sparks won. then from then on i find it very interesting. i am a musician and to see talented youngersters making an old song their own rendition is really exciting to watch. but the excitement i had all these years is died this season. the results i dont watch it anymore. i just look on the net who was eliminated. thanks a lot for the response

Yeah Jordin Sparks is one of my favorites from American Idol.

yes i find that feeling too. that even the contestant did what they think is the best the judges wanted more. for me the reason was they were not idol material. they are talented as we can see but not as talented of the past season. i think todrick hall was talented was booted out to early. the top three are just an okay contestants for me compare to other past few seasons of idol. thanks a lot for the response
