oh yeah, it thought it was gonna be fun too. yeah, lot of problems especially during delays

and then a ash cloud will make you lose your job for x many days

i'm quite lucky that i didn't have any problems during the ash cloud :)

i agree! you get stressed and you get burned out easily. plus, people get to yell at you most of the times and you don't have a say in it :)

watch some of the programs, people will get in a argument for the most stupid things

oh yeah, sometimes even when they are wrong and even if they know it, they'd still stick to what they want!

hi! if i may add it will really drain your brains dealing with the passenger who never wanted to listen to your explanation. they always feel that they are right and they paid a ticket that is why they feel that they all have the right to treat you as dirt. they are the one who is mad if you can not wave an excess baggage to them. where in their ticket it shows exactly how much is their baggage allowance. at the end of the day you will have complains claiming you are rude because you can not help them. how's that???

it depends on which airline you're working though. and working in the airport does not necessarily mean that you are a flight attendant. however, i think i would not like to become a flight attendant. when i was a kid, i wanted to become one. but not anymore.

Yeah, it is stressful at times. However, when there's no problem, working in the airport (at least my work) is really easy and could be a lot of fun. When nothing's wrong with the flight, workload's really light.

I've lasted three years so far. But I don't think I can take it any longer. I'm actually trying to look for a new job now. You're right, it's a lot of stress and an be a big challenge at times. Sometimes people insult you or be very rude to you and you can't do nothing but to accept it.

Why not? I think it's easier to work in the plane than in an airport. But I don't really want to be a flight attendant, I just think it's easier. If you mean riding as a passenger, then I really like doing it. I love taking flight! :)

It can be fun sometimes. But when you've been at it for a long time, it gets boring and you feel like you don't learn anything from it. Plus, sometimes passengers can really be annoying.

I think if you really love your job and if it Is really your passion, you will not really get bored. It's not actually my passion to work in there but still maybe I will learn to love that kind of job if. Already entered.

But I am into this kind of profession already and I am already liking it and I hope it can be my passion.

Haha. Luckily, it's very lenient with us. Most of us can't even complete a week's worth of work. But we only get written reprimands, which doesn't really matter. I also run late most of the times, but my pay just gets deducted because of it. During breaks, we can play psp or ipods or do whatever we want.

It is fun, most of the times. But sometimes the language barrier is frustrating. Like when you really can't understand what a passenger wants or vice versa. it's also tough when there are delays and flight interruptions, but overall, it isn't so bad.
