There's more you can do to help besides conserving water and electricity and recycling.
-Donate clothes to thrift stores or do a garage sale.
-Plant an herb garden.
-Shop locally and support your local business.
-Purchase biodegradable cleaner and sponges. (Vinegar is a perfect cleaner)
-Throw cooking oil in trash instead of the sink.
-Use reusable rags instead of paper towels.
-Carpool.
-Open windows rather than the AC or use fans.
-Avoid using harmful hair products.
-Adopt pets rather than purchasing at pet stores (this also helps prevent more and more puppy mills and killings in the pound)
