| computer/laptop keyboards loudness  | | | |  Has anyone else noticed some keyboards can be really loud when typing or quiete as a mouse. Ive noticed my notebook keyboard is really quiete and barlly makes a noise but when ever my wifes types on our other laptop it sounds like shes using a old fashioned type writer surlly they cant be sound proofing under the keyboard. Maybe shes just heavy handed but it can get really annoying when your trying to concentrate and you here this roar of noise going on next to me

Yes I have noticed that in keyboards, I think it all depends on the speed of the person typing, how heavy handed they are, but also the material the keys are made of, there may be a soft rubber edging to "newer" keyboards to stop them tapping so loudly.

| |  yes that is because she strikes her finger on the keyboard very hard... usually laptop keyboards do not make sound.. but u need to press it softly
