how was your mothers' day?  

well, we planned on going out twice and failed. day before mothers' day and exactly on that day. either my son fell asleep at home (nobody wakes up a four year old unless you want your day ruined) or it is work-related on my husband's part. their radio station would be covering the philippine national elections the next day.

on my husband's way home yesterday i just asked for a starbucks cappuccino. he brought home a tall tumbler and...didn't request for a soy milk as the additive. i spent the remaining night either in the bathroom or awake in the bedroom unable to sleep due to stomach pains. he bought a cake which lasts only today as the expiration date is tomorrow. it's a big cake and i have to give half of it to the one who delivers our filtered water here.

such a waste of money. but then again, he tried. how was your mothers's day.
