as far I know, being vegetarian can make the body become healthy, feel lighter and happier. As you know, only when the body is in healthy condition, then the mind can think clearly. Thus you become more clear in dealing with everyday problems

In some ways yes being a vegetarian is good for one but in others it isnt. I cant eat meat due to health issues. Although, I feel a lot healthier and well not so bloated and logged down. I find a lot of my vitamens and minerals are decreased and low. Now I must spend a lot of money on supplements to bring them up.

I had always been pure vegetarian. I don't know the benefits but I never had any major health problems in my life. Till now I took no supplements to get all nutrients. Vegetarians never become obese.

hi, i m also in your category . in my family all of them will take non-veg, except myself. one thing i will say that is we are very sensitive and softy persons. we are not doing any sins. we are blessed.

There are many benefits of being vegetarian, it can keeps your body and mind healthy. Being vegetarian can keep you away from obese, it can also keep you away from heart disease, high blood pressure, and Type II diabetes. These are some the benefits of being vegetarian. Ya I am vegetarian, I never touched non-veg. I just hate it. I am from the Hindu religion and most of the Hindu's don't prefer to have non-veg. Yeah, Glad to know that u r vegetarian.

It is good to be a vegetarian as eating too much meat is not good for us I think. The trouble though with being a vegetarian is getting enough goodness, and some of the essential vitamins and minerals into the diet. Meat provides good sources of iron and some of the B vitamins which are harder to absorb through plant foods. So you need to make sure you eat enough beans and lentils, things like that, to get good quality protein, and iron. Also lots of green leafy vegetable are good sources of vitamins and minerals. So just make sure you are eating a balanced diet, and not at risk of deficiency in some nutrients. Also if you don't eat fish either, then you may not be getting enough essential fats, such as Omega 3s. So add some ground linseeds to your meals as this is a vegetarian source of omega 3. good luck and happy eating!

I don't know but,my daughter said she will be one real soon. She is getting tired of eating meat. So I will be cutting back on beef for starters

It is good to hear you are a vegetarian. I became vegetarian when I was 17 (1987) even though my parents have always eaten meat. My husband eats meat too, but my 4 children have been vegetarian since birth and they are now 14, 17, 18 and 19 years old.
