Now I am just the opposite!!

I can't sleep with the lights on.

Nope, Im the opposite as yourself. I cant sleep with ay lights on or else Ill lie awake for hours and finally when Im so tired Ill fall asleep. I guess we re all different and this is one of them. I know my rooomate always had to have her lights on while the rest of us had to have them off.

I can't sleep to without a single stray of light. I feel that I can't breath if it's too dark.

When I am in a new place I like to keep some sort of dim lamp on. After I am used to a place I am okay. But that also depends on how really dark it is at night. If it's way out in the country with no street lights I like some sort of small light at night.

The light actually doesn't bother me either. I can actually sleep whether the lights are on or off. I usually go to bed before my husband and I leave a light on, so he can actually see where he goes and turns it off when he's coming to bed. This actually doesn't bother me at all. I can sleep with the light on or off.

i like keeping lights on while sleeping, but my wife do not like lights on while sleeping, so its 50:50!

I sleep with light on, because I read a book before sleep, I usually fall a sleep with book in my hand so I don't bother to turn of the lamp.

I can't stand any inch of light when I'm sleeping! Even a il bit of light comming in from the moon or under the door will drive me batty sometimes.

I can sleep with both "lights on" and "lights off". But I have better sleep with lights off. It gives my eyes good rest and relaxation.

This is a good question to ask us. As you might know, we're all different. Some of us can/want to sleep witht he light on whilst some of us can't/dont want to sleep with the light on.
As for myself, I can't sleep with the light on, because many times its in my face and with my eyeballs i can see the skin in front of my eye (whilst its closed) turn bright red, disallowing me to sleep. For me this gets very annoying, especially when I really want to sleep as I would be very tired.

When I was young, my sister and I used to sleep in the same room and she always wanted the light on except that I didn't want to. But as she was younger, (and you know how parents act to your younger sister/brother) I ended up losing the battle. I had to place my pillow on my face, which wasn't comfortable at all...

But, in conclusion, we're all different and we should respect each other's views on this, whether its your sister/brother/friend/relative or anyone.
