Ladies, when shopping for a purse  

When I go out it's never anywhere fancy so no need for anything really that stylish for me. I agree that thrift stores are a good place to go to get some good bargains and nice stylish wardrobes and accessories even.

You go for all three then. Something big with a good amount of compartments, and also something that is stylish. I wonder if these types of bags are hard to find or are expensive. I've seen bags like this I think, but then again when shopping for bags I go to wal*mart.

It's actually easy to find nowadays but then some are really expensive but I usually find one that is affordable...

My husband and I share a cellphone. I never go out without him being around as well so there's no need for us to have more then one yet. That being said, it's usually in one of our pockets, or in the cup holder when one of us is driving.

I think even with having my own separate phone, I've always put the phone in my pocket or in a zipped compartment of my bag.

Yeah the more compartments the better because you just don't know what's gonna end up in your purse next. I've not actually counted how many compartments and inner compartments my new one has.

Yeah the bigger the bag the more that's gonna be stuffed into it (over time) so the better it is to get a smaller bag so you can't end up doing that.

Yep. We shop Wal*mart here, we figure we're not gonna pay for the tags on the clothing becausr your right that's all it is. Everything is mass produced somewhere, and then taken to different facilities where the name or logo is stitched on to the shirt.

I think I bought my last purse from Wallie's. I don't go there anymore though after I heard of the lady being degraded who lived there.

I like pockets that snap or velcro or zip close on the outside to as I don't want important information slipping our, or important things slipping out of the purse. I don't know why, but I agree there's just not that many white ones to choose from for some reason. Hopefully you can find a nice one.

I think I'll stick with medium bags myself, with a nice strap or one that can be adjusted, otherwise I'll end up throwing the bag out!

In a bigger bag things tend to end up in the bottom of it, and those things are usually the ones you've got to get to first. That is why I much prefer a medium sized bag as well.

I have to have the comfort thing for me. If not I feel I'm going to sling it down somewhere and forget about it. Stylish I've done, but that was a bigger bag and I just kept losing things in it and eventually stopped carrying it altogether. I've even tried just carrying my wallet but of course that is dangerous too.
