|  i will quit the jop here and move to another city, where my boyfriend lives. but last night he told me that i should pay some of the rent. he said that the living expense of that city was much higher.and at the prsent he lives in a rented apartemnt with his sister and brother-in-law. they share the rent together. i promised my boyfriend that i would share the rent.but actually i feel some kind unconfortable.you know,in china, it is quite normal that your boyfriend pays the rent alone when you live together with him.in fact ,i donot care about such question.i just care whether he loves me or not .i doubt that. how do you think of that question,my lotters? i want your help.

| |  I don't think it is unfair. It if fair that you should pay your share of the rent. I don't think love has anything to do with it.
May be you should make sure that you get a job in the new city before moving there. And also ask your boyfriend if he can wait till you get the paycheck to start paying your share of the rent.

| |  it think it's only fair that you pay your share of rent. if you lived anywhere else, you still would pay rent. and it's not like you boyfriend is asking you to pay the whole rent, right? i think whether he loves you or not is irrelevant to paying your rent.
