samsung phone users ??? what are negatives of your phone ??  

What I really hate in my Omnia Pro B7320 is on how to unlock it. I always need to press its power button just to be able to unlock it, unlike to Nokia phones when you just have to press this certain key followed by the *. But I love my phone though especially its inbox. The conversations are just seen in thread.

I used various samsung phones in the past before I shifted to my iphone. But based on my experience, samsung performed very well. I didn't have any problems about the features and it longevity, in fact I was even able to still sell it for a good price even after 2 years of use. For me, I can say that samsung phones are considered as one of the good phones in the market.

i'm using samsung m620 and e250, the only thing i don't like about my phone is i have to stop using it's mp3 player if i receive an sms. over-all, my phones are okay with me, it's only used for texting and calling anyway.^_^

Yea, that is what Samsung do. It will have a lot of cool features, but it will miss some basic features and they mess up with menu arrangements. The availability of software and accessories to a Samsung phone is tedious.

I had a classic samsung phone SGH-C210 till last month I purchased a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. C210 was my first phone in life and I love it. It is very light(69 g) sleek and think beautiful bar type phone. It can go anywhere even in tight pockets.. It had fall down 100s of times, still working fine. I purchased it 4 years ago with a cheap and best budget.

The blunders made by Samsung in this phone are given below.

Cannot copy all contacts from phone to SIM or vice versa. We have to copy each numbers!

There is no way to goto next line while you type a text message :)

No Alarm snooze option.

No profiles, but the ring options can be directly changed.

No complete silent options, either ring or vibrate or ring + vibrate.

The ok button is set to internet, where as Nokia use it for displaying menus. When we accidentally press that button, it will connect to internet and money gone.

My Nokia 5800 XM do better, it lacks PDF & Ofiice document viewer/editors. But I like it.

Every phone is different right down to the features. No two phones are the same. For example I have a samsung highlite, but it doesn't have the voice option when I dial.. Previous vesions did as well as a changeable high contrast option. I can change the contrast with my messages, but they would all appear to my friends as picture messages so I simply delt with it because I didn't want to exclude my friends and my messages would read the same. So... I let it go.

Point is, the complaints I have are minor compared, and two versions of the same brand of phone. Personally I wouldn't complain and stick with the brand you're used to. If it were me, I wouldn't worry about featurs as long as it performs the way you expect. that's what I would do anyway.

I have a Samsung Omnia 2, and the only drawback of it, is the fact that when I am outside in the sunlight, I can't see the screen. I have to move into the shade to see what I am doing. My daughter had called me one day when I was walking the dogs, and of course the sun was out bright, and I just couldn't see the screen, so I accidentally pushed the end button, and poof the call was gone, but fortunately, she called me back, and I went to an area in the shade so I could answer it and not cut her off again. My phone locks automatically, so I have to unlock it every time the phone rings, which can be a hassle, but I really don't worry about it, as it it a great phone, and I am glad I have it.
