How many of you do bids, as in sell or buy things online?

Are you an online shopper or seller? My female friend has recently come across a site, while stumbling that is about bidding. It entails penny bidding but one needs to pay .75 cents for each bid. My friend is wondering if she should join it or not. If she is successful then maybe I will join as well. I might even buy products and resell them at a higher price. People can get up to 90% of things on sale and sometimes even more. The site is called bigdeal.com How interesting. Lol.

The only site I ever tried was really a big con. You only got 5 free bids and after that you had to 'buy' your bids - it ended up costing as much as buying the products from a shop. I don't know about bigdeal.com, it could be completely different. Do you know if you have to 'buy' the bids first or not.

That site one has to buy their bids first. Each bid costs .75 cents. It was supposedly featured on the New York Times. I don't know how it really works but it seems interesting. I think a person has to be extremely lucky at times and know what they're doing. I think it's worth taking a look at.

I am a little of both. I used to sell items on ebay (signature bags, pouches, gadgets, clothes, etc). however, i have decided to stop when i got so busy in school. i still buy items online particularly in tipid pc and tipid cp (local gadget shop). i buy second hand mobile phones and game consoles. my partner's been an online seller for years and most of the transactions were successful. :)

I buy some things online, but I am not a frequent online buyer. I have never tried bidding. I don't think it is worth putting effort to think, bid, and then wait for the result. I think people who are experienced in bidding can do that. I have seen that sometimes bidding starts at $1 in ebay, but I am not sure if the product is sold at a low rate. I don't have experience. I would like to hear from experienced people and give it a try.

Hi eddy, I do buy things online mainly from ebay and multiply but I have not tried the site you have mentioned. Ask her to do more investigation before she bids on it or buy things because even in legitimate sites like ebay there are sellers who are nothing but scammers. Hope it works out well for her. Happy Mylotting.

i am a buyer at ebay, and i dont like to look on items that are for bidding. i bid once and lose and i dont like that to happen again. when an item is for bidding you really dont know who will get that item. i dont want to be desperately bidding them in wont be mine. now back on your discussion if placing a bid will cost.75 cents then that would be crazy, i wont join in something like that. first because i hate bidding and now paying for just bidding is insane. she might just freak out on after bidding and bidding then she wont be the winning bidder. just my opinion.

I don't bid on things online. I've seen too many people get ripped off buying fake items. I tried to sell things online before too, but that didn't work out. You can't compete with people selling stolen items. And with so many people out there selling things online, the competition is just way too large. Especially when you have big name stores selling things online. Everyone will buy from the people they know by name.

The only site I use for bidding is ebay and yes, it's fun when you win the bids especially if you are looking for the item for a long time and the price is good. I do find good things on ebay with a good deal anyway. I am planning to sell on ebay, and I am preparing for the stuffs I want to sell. Wish me luck!
