| Your YouTube Story  | | | |  I don't know how many mylotters use YouTube as well, but I do and I love it. This week marks the 5th Year anniversary of YouTube and users are posting their 'YouTube Story', how they came to the website, why they stayed and what kinds of contributions they made to the community. I wanted to hear people's youtube stories, even if they didn't post a video, so please, tell me about them in a response to this post.
My YouTube story began in 2005, so the first year YouTube started. I found the website with a friend when we were browsing the Internet looking for funny things to laugh at. We found a YouTube user named Brookers and I was immediately turned on by the idea that anyone can post videos and share them with the world. It wasn't until 2006 I actually got the nerve to shoot a short video about my hometown to the music of Sam Robert's "Brother Down". After that I continued to make videos and now I'm trying to make one everyday to share my experience in Mexico. (If you are interested my channel is youtube.com/tacosdoritos)

| |  hmmm i must say my goverment forbiden us to visit youtube
i have no access to that site except using softwear to pass the great fire wall
i usually watch some news and funny things,and some history on that site and by the way to figuer out the why goverment pose the ban on this site
hope one day they lift the ban

| |  I first knew youtube from a friend too. I was trying to kill time surfing the net. I asked my friend for a website where i can watch funny videos. He said youtube has a lot of 'em so i visited it and i enjoyed my stay.

| |  I love YouTube. I recently made my YouTube Story, but I don't have any videos. The only things I've posted on YouTube is a couple projects on a different account. I'm trying to get a lot of subscribers for my channel during this summer. So I'm working on some funny videos for my YouTube which should be up by September.
