can we install ms word 2003 in windows 7?  |

a friend of mine needs to install ms word 2003 version in her pc, but we r unable to install 2003 version in windows7 background... have anyone here come across this issue... or is it not at all possible to install it in windows7?

| |  hi even i had that issue but i installed some Chinese version for mine. i think it is not possible to install 2003 version in win7.

| |  No problem, my friend tried that before. But now MS is launching MS Office 2010, why don't your friend consider experiencing sometime new? I really think Office 2007 is not a little better then 2003...

I installed ms 2007 on my pc there was no problem.
I think maybe the operation system is not your problem are you sure the problem is your operation system?
if it was true you can search this issue in Microsoft website.

| |  I don't think office 03 will cause any problems while installing but still some time you may get compatiblity problem so while installing right click the setup for properties > compatiblity TAB > Run this program in the compatiblity mode for > then you would find Windows XP. You may choose between SP2 or SP3.

| |  Yes, you are able to install it on Window 7. But you can't install 2003 and 2007 at the same system as they will cause conflicts between 1 another. I got these problem which resulted part of office 2007 files being corrupted. Uninstall won't solve the solution. For version 2010 I'm not sure whether it will cause any issues between any of the older version of ms word.
