which do u prefer, take a risk or play safe?  

It depends. As much as i wanna play it safe sometimes, i just feel like i have to take the risk for some situations. There are times when i regret taking the risk but most of the time it pays. :)

Making choices and deciding which choices is to be chosen is a hard thing to do. For me, I do both. I take a risk when I know and feel I am safe to take a risk and I choose to play safe when I know and feel that I will be at risk.

I always choose to play safe, but now I want to do what my heart wants. And it is also depends on the situation, what are you going to do if you do that? What are the sacrifices that you have to make? and specially who will be the one that will be affected in your decision.

I think I would rather play it safe... since I would be worried about the consequences and losing whatever I am risking :)

i'm more of a risk taker..i also think of the consequences and as long as it seems that the positive consequence outweighs the negative results, i'll take the risk..so it's more of a calculated risk that i take most of the time.

In business and investments i believe in taking calculated risks.Without these calculated risks one has to settle for minimum returns in safe investments.I feel one shouldn't risk everything but one should study the situation and take risks which will yield higher returns.I can say i'm a risk taker who decides after studying the odds.

i will not take a risk ii will only play safe.. because you can call it cowardness but i will call it being logical

Hi, patersh. I am like this too. I was never one to take risks. I like to play it safe. When my intuition will kick in sharply, I will listen to it, because if I don't, I will be paying for it in the end. Taking risks can be very deadly.

welcome to the wonderful world of mylot. when i was younger taking a risk is okay since it was only me that will get the circumstances whatever that maybe, but i dont do something like death defying or it will take a big risk in my life. for example i stopped studying college and joined a band. its risk i have to take and now it is me who suffers har har har. it was late that i realize i should have finish my studies first. well now i still take a risk but i need to talk to my wife about it before i take any risk. its much easier deciding for myself when i was single and now i need to know if this risk can affect our relationship or financial or anything, so i need to think.

It all depends on the situation. Mostly I like to play safe. But if the returns that I get would be good enough to take a risk, I choose to take risk. After all, life itself is a risky game. I may have thousands of dollars at my hand today. I know, I may not have even a single dollar tomorrow.. Life is a game.. Why not play it in its own way?
