do you get along with people during your 1st day?  

It is difficult yes I agree but I manage every time to adjust with my new friends and colleagues on the first day itself, it gives me an opportunity to know them a bit at the first to then continue my friendship with them. If they do not talk to me I will just turn and talk to another with a smile on my face.

Yes.. I'm shy when talking to my new friends at school.. I will sit on my chair and sometimes affraid to talk with them.. Don't know why I'm always like that on my first day.. But in the next day I tried to talk and be friends with them..

I usually get along with people during the first day, but it depends on the person I talk to. When the person is so talkative and intimidating, most likely I just keep quiet during the first couple of weeks; but if the person is also very quiet and shy, I get along with them so easily, I usually talk to them first because I dont get intimidated by them.

Not really, I don't get along with people on the first day. Usually I would just keep quiet most of the time and it takes quite some time for me to warm up to people I just met. But I cannot stop talking when I get to know them more. Its always been like that for me with people.

In my defense, its better this way since you would make quality friends rather than quantity. I know quite a few guys who are very extroverted, they can make friends with practically anybody and have hordes of people that he knows. But he is not close with any of them. Well thats just from my personal observation

No, I hardly adjust to new people thats why a lot of my classmate would say you're too silent but they didn't know I was the most talkative person among my friends... Though sometimes I try to be friendly for them not to think that I'm snob, something like that. There this one time that I had classmate before which happen to be also my friend's classmate, she would tell my friend that "me" was too silent in the class and definitely doesn't talk at all not unless if I was being asked... Then my friend was like "really?" and laugh loudly, then she said to that classmates of us that I wasn't really silent at all when I and my friends are together...

yes it happens but for some time.. i love to spend my time abroad studying.. i want to experience it.. that what it feels when we are studying with peoples from different countries..

Well itz hard to get along and have an actual conversation with peoples at the first day.. I find miself feeling real shy and and awakeard around them.. It real hard at the first day cuz we don't even kno them. I recentely changed collage and at the first day I didn't really talk to them. It wasn't that bad cuz they were real friendly an wen they were havin discussion, I was just sitin dere listning.. But it gets way way beta the 2nd day cuz bi then u kno how the environment is and get used 2 it beta :) but at the first day I think itz beta just 2 observe them so we kno their personalities :D

On the first day of my college as far as I remember I was fortunate to have a nice and kind people around me. At the first subject I already found a friend and she became a friend since we graduated. Even at work, the people I met first became friendly to me in a instant. I do treat them the way they treat me. It is not difficult for me to hang out with anyone or to introduced myself with them and be friends with them. Even at the first day I can have one person with me. I try my best to get along on the first day, I don't mind initiating, I just want to be happy on the first day and feel at ease and comfortable.

It depends. When I was a bit younger, I used to be a very fun girl to be with so I easily get close to people and win their favor. I love being with people so I easily get along with people even during my first day but now I'm kinda busy and don't want to be with people that much anymore. I am still nice but I want to be alone. I don't know why.
