Are 'near death ' experiences real ?  

The thing with 'near death exdperiences' and whether or not you beelive in them depends on if you have personal experienced them. I mean sure you can have faith or not have faith but you dont truly beleive or not until you get there.
Ive never experienced this personally, or at leasdt not yet, outside of my dreams. I think it would be pretty cool to experience sometihng like that or see god or something if youa re almost dieing but are able to come back to the real world. I think it would give someone a different perspective and give thema new life of sorts when they make it back to the ground and into the life.
I guesz that stuff like what you described with the miscarriage and hemoraging blood could have been in your mind due to all the loss of blood but at the same time by faith in this type of paranormal experioences tells me that it might have been. Again, it all depends on what YOU ebelive and how you opreceive this thing that happened to you.

there is a wonderful book, classified under the para-normal category, with a title something like: "Many Masters Many Lives..." -- i don't remember the author correctly, but some Clinical Psychologist. MAY be, Dr.Weiss of United States of America.

but, I CAN tell you about my out-of-body experiences. they will not be in anyway similar to near-death experiences.

I believe in this.

Yes, my friend was dead for several minutes and came back. He meet his grandmother who told him it wasn't time to go yet and he's still living today. There is a similarity between near-death and out of body experiences but there is a difference. It's not the same. I had out of body experiences where I travelled consciously where I wanted to go. I have the belief that we are not our bodies. It's simply the instrument we play with while having an experience here on Earth.

I recommend reading three books from Robert Monroe about out of body experiences. They are every inspiring and I don't understand why they are not more publicly known. Maybe because the topic is widely misunderstood.

It is hard to say if they are real or not. There have been scientific explanations given of oxygen deprivation to the brain and hallucinations. I know that I believe I will actually die once and the will be judged by God. However I do not have any way of knowing that I will not come close to dying. Actually more than one time in the Bible people were considered to be dead and Jesus brought them back to life.These may have been what modern people call near death experiences. If I am not mistaken there is a fictional book written about Lazarus, the most famous person Jesus raised from the dead.
In that fictional account, if I remember correctly, he was never happy again to live on earth. Maybe I am misremembering. How did you feel after your experience?

Some suggest that the concept of spirit evolved, as a result of such experiences but nobody is sure. Whether imagination or reality, I can't say it for sure but I can't accept it to be imagination as a final answer, as spirits cannot be justified rationally. This is because I have seen things, in which science fails to explain.
There was a Russian scientist, who died as a result of car accident and returned back to life after many many hours, as his body was being removed from the cold storage to be treated, as dead are treated. He also expressed his experience of "Out of Body" experience. He also claimed that he wandered many places and saw what was happening there.

Real or imagination????? You must remember that you are a spiritual being in your true nature. That physical body isn't the REAL YOU. It's your transportation. Remember back. Hmmmm???? I bet after the experience you aren't afraid of death anymore.

I have never experienced this in my life, however it has to be real I believe. There have been to many people who have gone through this that it has to be true. If it was their imagination then why is everyone experiencing the same type of things. Such as seeing the light down a long type of tunnel and greeting their loved ones who have past before them. I believe in the people who have had near death experiences mainly because it has happened to so many.

I believe yes. Near death exist. Every time I read a Psychic book "Near Death" topic is always there. I believe that when we are dying, our soul is separating to our dead body. But after a while we will be shock that we're still alive. And those seeing "Light" before you die is true. My grandma and my other elders experienced it several times like my grandma is dying she said she cant stand the pain anymore and she said she'll go to the bright light where she saw my grandpa but we dont want it so we ask her to fight her sickness and then, she lived for I think 5 months then it happened again but we need to let go and then she died. kindda weird but yes I believe near death is true.

Yes I heard some people claiming that.... some claim that they saw a portal that leads to heaven and some leads to hell... scary thou

As you say, many people feel they have had a near death experience. I think the out of body experience, is not the same--but, may happen just before the bright light, tunnel, relatives thing happens.

I haven't had a near death experience, although I have been near death before. People that I've spoken to who have tend to be much more peaceful in their hearts and less afraid of death. It gives them a sense of hope and usually reaffirms their faith.
