That was a very interesting discussion about the mighty men of King David. King David had a captain of his whole armies named Joab. Joab leads the kings host but was not of the mighty thirty because of what he has done. One of them was when he sided with Absalom when he rebelled against the King. I like the top three mightiest of the thirty and one of them is the brother of Joab named Abishai.

David himself. the mighty men of david were called Goborims, meaning "mighty men." gibor is the hebrew word for "mighty." David is their leader. these guys were willing to give their lives for david...anytime at any given day!
