How long does a National Election Result comes out in your country?  

Even though it is the first automated election here I think the Comelec is having progress since they were able to proclaim senators just 2 days after the election. I think what's delaying the proclamation of our new president is our law which order the senate to do the canvassing for the national position. If we want a fast declaration, then let us change the way we count their votes the way we change our process of voting. With automated election, it must also come with automated counting for the senate.

As the days are fixed for the election dates from state to state and done in four five times and take nearly 15/20 days more to declare the result

It all depends on who do the counting sweetie. Here it takes up to 2 weeks. TATA.

I don't know. we both lived in the same country but countries like United States had one of the first automated election and it was really fast. i envied them because they were almost accurate in the count unlike us when we are use to manual counting, cheatings and killings where everywhere

have not voted here, so i can't relate. Hehehe. I thing there are so many issues that are being tackled right now which is a distraction in counting blah blah. We still don't have a new president proclaimed! I just don't believe in our process now. Don't believe,.tsk.

That's the way Philippines election goes eh, it takes time for the proclaimation of President and other elect officials. Last time it was 2 months before it will be proclaim. Now senators have been proclaimed early as two or three days that's good. But here in Canada only one day they will know who the winner is and proclaim right away.

Usually it's pretty quick unless the election is close. I know it was a couple of weeks at least before the 2001 presidential results were final.
