Google logo as a game?  

I noticed this interesting logo yesterday. I thought it was a big event for PAC-man. Now I learned that it is PAC-man 30th anniversary. How amazing it is! I don't know this game has been so old already:)

OH wow - I saw the Pacman logo, but I had no idea you actually play there - how funny!! I didn't see the "insert coin" part - I just checked it out!! Ok, something for me to play later - ha ha. I grew up with Pacman - that was so much fun playing it at the arcade - and I played it at home on my Atari system. Old style gaming. I love the Pacman sound wocka wocka wocka! Yes, I agree Google is innovative . . . I go there every day and it's neat when the logo has a new theme running for a couple days or so.

Yes, I noticed that! Cool! It has been on for a couple of days now. They always have some great little pics and artistic doo dahs on there. New Years was cool and Halloween usually is too. Very inventive and different. Nice color and alwys a nice sureprise to find something appealing on there.

Wow!!!! that is totally awesome!!! I think Google should start a service like this... they are some competition when it comes to search engines.

I missed seeing this day on Google. It really is a shame too because I love Pac Man and have always been a huge fan of the game. I remember playing it all the time when I was a child and we would go to Pizza Hut for dinner and I remember playing it at home on my very first computer (it wasn't even a windows based machine). Now that I have children of my own, they are now playing pac man on their computers. I know my son would have gotten a kick out of this.

I saw this logo too last week. But I did not play the game.
It is interesting but I heard on the news a few days ago on how much that logo affected productivity in the workplace. I don't remember the exact figures, but they multiplied the few seconds which was the average time spent playing the game with the number of hits google had per day. This totalled to the amount of productivity loss!
