Most expensive coffee made from animal poop. Will you drink it?  |

|  The world's most expenssive coffee sells for around $100 to $600 per pound and it is made from the poop of an animal called the Civet Cat found in some Asian countries like Indonesia.
The coffe is called kopi luwak from the words 'kopi' which is the Indonesian word for cofee and 'luwak' which is the local name of the animal who eats the raw cofee beans. The Civet's stomach only digests the other part of the coffee cherry then poops the rest which is then harvested to be sold as the 'most expensive coffe.'
Knowing that the coffee is made from poop, does it matter if it's the most expenssive coffee? Will you drink it?
Personally, I'd like to try.

| |  So I'd have to pay between $100 and $600 to drink poop? I'll pass. I wouldn't even pay that much for coffee that wasn't made out of crap. That's completely insane and an astronomical price for coffee. I don't care how good it may or may not be. Even if it was cheap though, I probably wouldn't try it even for the simple fact of what it is.

| |  No, definitely not,yuck!!! Besides i am not that crazy about coffee that i will spend so much money on something that will go into my tummy and out after some time.I know about the civet cat having read about it but this is news to me that coffe is made out of seeds found in its poop.Whatever it is i don`t have that kind of money to spend on something wasteful.Cheers.

| |  I'm still waiting for my friend's invitation once the same coffee is available in his farm. He says this "digested" coffee tastes really different. It's one of a kind, hence the term exotic. By the way, that wild cat is called 'alamid' here in the Philippines.
