She was at my side the moment I am down,she was their she never left me behind, and the day that I was in Labor she was also there and she told me that "If only I could replace you in that situation,I will accept that so that you will not feel the pain". A Mother's Love is forever.

nice article! definitely going to print it and show it to my husband anytime he tries to get out of diaper duty. =) Being a mother has changed me a lot and I now understand why my mother did all those things for me, I honestly do not know what I would do without her.

I didn't read the whole of the article but I've got my share as to why I respect mothers and women in general a lot. Aside from the physical pain that they endure during giving birth, mothers sacrifice a lot for their children. Most mothers have nothing in their mind more than the welfare of their children. It's quite true that it's the father's primary responsibility to protect the family and provide all the basic needs but it's the mother who basically keeps the family together and pours in love in it which is also as essential as what the father provides.

I would like to share with you how my mother supported me and groomed me to become what I am today. When I was still a child, my mother is always there for me (and for my father too). She sends me to school and fetches me after classes. While she's back home, she cleans the house, prepares food (normally what me and my father really wants to eat), and sometimes prepares surprises for both of us. Apart from that, she's also the one who takes care of me when I'm sick and really leaves her work just to take care of me. There are still a lot of things that my mother has done for me but summing it up, she just puts me and my father above herself. She sacrifices a lot.

When I left home for college, she would visit me roughly every month just to see if I'm ok. When I started to get used to the place, she no longer visits me that often as I understood, she wanted me to start living a life of my own (of course, with the advice of my father). However, she would still send me money from home twice in a month and that means she's got to travel for about 4 hours twice in a month on a rough road just to send me money and get back home.

She's just done a lot of things (little and big ones) that if I'd sum it all up, was so great that made me who I am today, a good man (at my own self assessment). How I wish I could repay her in a grand way for all the things that she has done.

Knowing the things that my mother has done for me, I could generalize that a mother's task isn't a very easy task as it requires a lot of sacrifice and hard work. However, because of their genuine love for their spouse and children, such tasks that seem so enormous would turn out to be so easy.

Giving birth is just the start and raising a kid up to become a really good man/woman is the real challenge and I really salute all those mothers who has done a great job in fulfilling their roles. As a man, I could say that a mother's job isn't that easy.

I love my mom and all the mothers,why?Lets just put it this way.When they are giving birth their life is always at risk,in fact some died by giving birth and lastly,we are not living in this world if not with our mother.

i also love my mother and appreciate her more now specially we 8 siblings and she give birth to all of us via normal delivery just inside our house with midwife in the province since hospital there is too far so i cant imagine how much pain she endure with her 8 kids. since shes with me right now that im pregnant and i experience how difficult to be pregnant specially soon if i give birth i told her im proud of her to endure such pain and i really felt sorry during the time that i hurt her specially emotionally due to my wrong doing and she become so strict to us her children.

though we decided to have epidural with my up coming delivery so i will not feel any pain. im glad theres painless delivery now a days already, even if its expensive then its alright. though they said that feeling the pain during delivery will really make you feel of the true essence of being a mother as it makes your child feel that your willing to take all the pain for her safety so she will be out to see the world.

though just sad to think that child did not even appreciate that pain as its easy for them to just shout their mother and did not follow them. unless they will also give birth someday.
