How to Say Good Bye to a Person you Don't Love Anymore

Yes, love is a mysterious thing. It's a wonder how one falls in love and falls out of it with a blink of an eye. I think that love is a good foundation for a relationship but it doesn't end with that. You have to work on it, nurture it, be committed into making it work. Sometimes, it takes lots of sacrifices and understanding between the persons involved and there are those who settle to just love without wanting anything in return. There are those who refused to be confined in a commitment and just want love without a formal relationship at all.

I believe that there's no easy way to say goodbye to the one you loved. Just be honest and tell the person because as a text message that I received once says, falling out of love with a person hurts but what hurts more is feeling that you're not even worth an explanation or a goodbye for that matter.

I'm not really sure what the best thing to do is. But for me there is someone I need to say goodbye to and I'm planning to do it. I can't do it yet for some very important reasons. I don't live with this person and I haven't even seen him in over 1.5 years. But I do depend on him still for favors.

We do fall in love, and we also DO fall out of love. And it is really difficult to break this up. But if you will like love is not there anymore, the best thing to do is break-up. Don't wait for it to become more worse. I once experienced this hardship in breaking up a woman's heart. I slowly break her heart. I don't show myself to her that often. What I did was, I limit the things that I'd usually do with her. Until I have a strength to tell her finally. There's no excuse to what I did. But I keep on telling her, that it is for our own good. So 5 years after we saw it's other and laugh on what is past. We are still friends.

Honestly, I've been in this situation before and you have to learn that it's best to just do it. I put off doing it for the longest time and it just made things so much worse. It ended up bringing us both down for awhile just because things weren't the same as they used to be and we had become two different people. It was better to just sit down and have the talk. When we finally did it was like this huge weight was lifted and my whole outlook on everything got so much better.

saying goodbye is never easy. but the true meaning of love is to letting go of a person whom you do not have the same feeling with her/him. you cannot put that person lives on hold just because you do not want to hurt her/his feelings. and it is better to be honest than living in a lie.

for me, i would say that i love you that is why i am saying goodbye to you. because i cannot give equal love you have for me. it is so unfair to you if i do not love you anymore and still we are together. saying goodbye is not easy because you are part of my life, but this is the best thing to do for us to move on. i think it is better for us to live separately for us too grow. that is my style. have a nice day!

i am very much struggling with this also. i have not felt in love with my partner for many years. he broke my trust years ago and even though we agreed to stay together ive never been able to get those feelings back since that time. for years weve just stayed together going threw the motions of every day life. but now that im older and have discovered more things about myself and my needs in life. now i just stay pretending life is ok just so not to disappoint people in my life by saying goodbye. i dont think this is healthy to stay in a relationship just to please other people but how do you say this is over is very difficult when you dont want to hurt other people. life is to short and i see mine slipping away.

To be fair? you must talk to him/her heart to heart. Tell him/her the reason why.It's the best way to do, I know truth hurts,but you have to do so, so that after that you can fix your life and you can move on peacefully.

As the statement reads above you don't love a person anymore and why do you get worried about leaving him then? leave him as he is and don't worry about him.We worry about people only if they are good to us or good to others.But if this girl is not at all caring your sentiments why do you want to say goodbye at all and take time thinking on unwanted matters which are not at all important once it is over
