The wives of Capt Golikeri and Capt Shamsunder were sisters. Both were widowed in 1979 when an Indian Airlines Avro, in which Capt Golikeri was the pilot and Capt Shamsunder a passenger flying to Mumbai to operate another flight, crashed. Uncannily enough, their third sister, who was also married to a pilot, Capt Gopuphkar, lost him 11 years later in the A320 crash in Bangalore. When I read above news, for a moment I was blank, what is this co-incidence. 3 sisters and each of them married to piolet, lost their husband in plane crash. After Manglore plane crash there are many stories and after reading them I am scared a bit as this year many people lost their near and dear in plane crash.

When i read it i'm also blank. But i'm sure it's just a coincidence. It's a pity some people base their prediction on such cases and not on the cause of the plane crash. They should be more analytical on this cuz if they're gonna depend on superstitions alone it's not gonna do any good.
