I won't be replying very soon, but really thought you should all see this. It is a huffington post link, but you have to click the hyperlink in the article which will show you the video of the abuse. It is appalling. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jamie-lee-curtis/an-open-letter-to-gary-co_b_591730.html When you get here, click the blue link: "watch the video of the abuse at your plant". It is very hard to watch, and view discretion is advised.

This is so very cruel and never should done to any animals or any kind. Isn't not enough that we consumed them for meat and we hurt them more than physically they can bear. My heart is bleeding just watching the video. I want to kick that cruel man's face a thousand times. God forgive him for being so cruel. Made me sick.

Hi ladybugmagic It is really appaling and definitely something must be done to stop this cruelty. Since years people are doing injustice and cruelty is meted out to them in the form of sacrifice, festivals, rituals, and games, for their fur, ivory, skin, and even the young ones are also not spared for their tender skin.

How shocking! Someone should do that to them and see how they like it!

For years and forever, people have been abusing animals of all kinds for all sorts of horrible reasons. Such cruelty is an abomination. Such "people" are despicable and should be, at the very least, jailed. It has, in fact been found in studies that those who are cruel to animals are also cruel and violent to children. We do not need to kill animals for fur, for sport, and really not even for food. But, nobody was satisfied with "manna" from heaven. Perfection in the Garden of Eden was just not good enough for Adam and Eve. God gave us all our sustenance then and their; we never needed to eat animals until sin took root and we had to find our own food. God gave us dominion over animals; that means authority over them. But, with authority comes responsibility, and oops, in our hubris, we dropped the ball there by substituting violence and cruelty for humane treatment. God says he hates violence and violent men.
