Most of us I believe watched the Golden Girls at one time or another. I loved them and thought they were hilarious. Now that Rue McClanahan has died today we only have Betty White left. Who was your favorite Golden Girl? I loved them all but my favorite would have to be between Estelle Getty and Betty White. Estelle because of how she delivered her lines. She was so blunt, told it like it was. As for Betty White it was because she was so naive and of course so funny because of that.

Rue mcClanahan will be missed by so many. I have great memories of watching the Golden girls. They were great together. they were all unique and funny women in their own ways. I would have to say that Betty White's character has always been my favorite of the golden girls. Her character was so simple, so naive and yet so full of humor. You could not help but laugh at her.

This is so true of Betty White's character. She will be in a new show on TV Land called Hot in Cleveland with Valerie Bertinelli and two other females actors. It looks like it will be so funny. The show is starting on June 16th.

I read this and was sad to see her go..I had forgotten about Betty White and that she is the only one alive from the cast of Golden Girls. She is my favorite mostly because I remember her and her husband on a game show, (the name escapes me but maybe another will remember) and I would watch that show all the time.. Rue will be missed...

I wonder if they show it on the gameshow channel or on TV Land. I have to check it out. That would be wonderful to see again.

Yes I remember that gameshow it was Password with her husband Allen Lunden. I loved that show too. Betty is having a wonderful time these days with her career. Being in funny commercials, SNL and now a knew show starting on June 16 called "Hot in Cleveland" on TV Land with Valerie Bertinelli and two other actresses, one who was on Kramer her last name I believe is Leeves. It looks like its going to be so funny. I can't wait to see it.

Hi. lelin1123. I loved the Golden Girl character that acted so sexy. I also loved her because she made me laugh at what she used to say. I used to get a kick out of her when she used to shrug her shoulders and walk off with an attitude. I think that her name was Rose on the show. I have enjoyed watching this show it was very funny and interesting.

I too loved the outfits that Bea wore. I also loved her style and color of her hair. It reminds me of my mom's hair. Thank you and you have a wonderful weekend too.

The Golden Girls is one of my all time favorite shows. I own all of the seasons on DVD and I also watch them on TV all the time! It makes me incredibly sad that all but one of the Golden Girls has passed away now. I think Rose (Betty White) was my favorite. She made me laugh throughout the whole show. Although I think that all of their characters really came together and made a well rounded, funny comedy! I still really enjoy seeing Betty White out there on TV. I absolutely loved her on Saturday Night Live back in May - she was a riot!

Betty White was a riot on SNL. She is still going so strong at 88 years of age. I have loved her since Mary Tyler Moore days. I'm glad we can still see the show on TV whenever we want too. Its so much fun to watch, relaxing and laughing at their antics.

Hiya lelin, I have always liked the three of them especially Estelle. Well I like the two gruffy character ones. I was so sorry to hear about Rue yesterday I did like watching her a lot very much in fact. Also so sorry to hear about Estelle I would say I am mixture of the three of them. But I loved them all and Gary Coleman too. I will miss them so much but they have not really gone in the sense we can still watch them when we want to.

Yes the group made for great TV. I loved the show. In fact I was just watching it. The episode where Estelle was faking being injured and in the wheelchair. It was so funny when Dorothy comes walking in and Estelle is dancing around. She got caught lying about the injure. Yes its great that we can still see them on TV.

Hiya lelin, I have not seen Betty White since the Golden Girls Series but I did see Rue in the odd Series or two like with Patrick McGoohan in one of the Episodes of Peter Falk“s Series Columbo I think it was this was a totally different Rue altogether and McGoohan totally wicked too (grin). I thought they hit it off very well together. I miss McGoohan very much too so I will have to buy his Dvds some time as they never show him over here at all except for BirdMan In Alcatraz so I suppose that is something.

I love that show and I miss Dorothy, Sophia and Blanche. I love Sophia's stories and Dorothy's snappy comebacks. I love the way that Blanche could get any man she wants. I am going to get the whole series on DVD.
