My pet is a rooster. is it perfect for a pet? some people say rooster is not good for pet. My pet always kind to me and my family also his companions such as he give his food for them. Taking care of him is a big pleasure to me. tell opinions...... please

I too have a rooster who is now seven years old. Sometimes he pecks at whoever tries to clean him as he would be sitting in the mud and when it is time for him to go back to his pen he does that. He is a joy to be around. Of the several video clips I had on him one which I uploaded on youtube has received thousands of views and many comments too.

I think rooster is a good choice of pet. As myself was rearing roosters some time back, I really admired them. It was a pleasure for me to feed them and see them growing.....they are just adorable. I did have emotional attachment with thw\em and had never thought of eating any one of them. Finally,I had to sell all of them due to lack of place. But they are still memorable to me. It is nice of you to have a rooster as a pet. chao.

Our backyard is big. so i can keep lot of roosters. but I like only my one. I mean his mother hen didn't like him. so he came to home from Gage. he grow up in inside home. after he became big rooster he made surrender everyone in his community. Now he is the King.

Hi there Fayas!
Well, some people who are really not into doing something different doesn't really count roosters as pet. Some people just use them in farms to wake them up, some use them for cockfighting but I believe that you shouldn't listen to any comments that they have as long as you're happy with what you're doing and you're not hurting anyone in the process.

Why not? I also like to have a rooster or any chicken as a pet. I wanted to hug it. Too bad to say I cannot have one cause I have dogs who hated other animals.
