The best music director of India got world recognition after he won double Oscars for his scintillating music in the feature film - Slumdog Millionaire . He also won laurels for his harmonic music in Semmozhiaana Tamizhmozhiya .

A.R.Rahman is an excellent music director and there is no second opinion in that..By the way, I had read a discussion of yours 2 months back saying that you do not know who A.R.Rahman is..But here you have mentioned that you hear his songs from his first movie and that you like them very much.. It is better to opt to one side of the coin..

It is like that once I knew who is he , I listened to many of his songs in TV and on the internet . It is really good . But you have a very good memory ( I suppose ) . But why do you always want to noondify into older topics ? Just talk about the present . Yellam Pugazhum Iraivanukae .

A R Rahman is one of my favorite music director.I know him since he started giving music in hindi bollywood music and became his fan after listening song "Hamma Hamma" from film BOMBAY. Even though he got OSCAR for 'JAY HO" i feel it is not his best composition he had many more better compositions to his credit.

You are true . Jay ho is not his best song . And I like his music from his 1st film - Roja ( in Tamil ). I don't know much about his Hindi compositions but almost all his Tamil Songs are great hits . His recent song for the world Tamil conference is a great hit among masses .

I have heard he had great compositions in Tamil, But i do not know Tamil. But he has dine wonders in Hindi movie music. The mastery with which he cretes fusion of different kind of music is tremendous.
