For all the women out there... How many bags do you have?

I have only three; black, brown and yellow green. Black if I wear a smart casual look, brown a sporty bag and yellow green a shopping bag.

Have you ever seen the bags made from the old Billboard materials? I often have two bags under my eyes ;) Eric

I only really own two handbags and both are big enough to carry lots of things in them, the new one can carry an A4 folder in. The older one is mainly red with Marilyn Monroe pictures all over it and my new one is black with grey trim.

I have a lot, because I actually kind of collect bags (I buy most of them on Ebay or in vintage or thrift stores though, if they are high end designer bags!), so I have over 50 bags (not sure of the actual amount). I have a lot of bags from stores like H&M and ASOS but also real designer bags by Furla, Fendi, Christian Dior and so on. And I use almost all of them! My favorite is a black leather bag by an unknown French brand (Laura Clement). It is big and fits all of my stuff, and goes with almost everything!

Just like you santosmarichris, I'm loaded with bags too, different colors, styles, brand and size. But I have my 4 favorite bags and my number 1 among four is my LV speedy 35 which is huge purse and always switch them every time I go out of my house. Majority of my purses are boston style, it's suites you if you're just like me carrying almost your whole room.

It's great that you don't go for bags because of whether they are designer or not - so many women are seduced by the notion that if they own bags that have a famous tattoo of their favorite celebrity name or brand label strewn across the face, they must be ultra noticeable to all other people! Thankfully there are those of us who just want a stylish bag because of more important reasons such as practicality, durable material, how many compartments etc. I buy mine from charity shops because they are inexpensive and you often get a better selection of choice. I went through a stage once of having a thing for back-packs but they were not elegant or feminine and people commented on how much they would like to carry one around with them to place all their belongings, some handbags you just can't carry around everything. They were too self conscious about the whole idea of wearing what they called a 'man's shoulder sack' in case it took away their femininity! I actually own just one shoulder bag that is like a handbag but more of a carry sack because it is so wide, yet it is a beautiful blue turquoise color it could qualify as a hand bag as some description, but I just hate those things more so than I hate strapless tops. I don't wash it like you do, but it's good to take care of things you love so well as long as they don't fade or ruin the fabric of them in the spin cycle!

Good day to you Santosmarichris, Like you, I also have many bags. But, it is difficult if you have too many bags, that's why, I am just maintaining 2 bags now - a dark/blackish blue and a brown bag. I found these two colours somehow universal. Aside from that, whenever I plan to buy new clothes, I am also taking into consideration the colours of my two bags.

I love bags and shoes. I have 2 small handy purses and one mini hand bag. one medium sized bag and 2 cloth hand bags which I can wash every Sunday. My hands itches when I see a bag store. My husband feels I am very crazy but I should make him read all the posts here. LOL, atleast he will be convinced I am not the only one crazy after bags.
