I thought I was the only one who noticed. Now it is the talk of our sportscasters.
The soccer game Japan showed in the World Cup was eye opening. If the Japanese who are much smaller in built could win it over bigger European opponents, then soccer can also be a game Filipinos can win.
A word of caution though. The Japanese athletes looked every inch like Samurai warriors. They live by the Bushido code.

The Asian countries are very much talented compared to their western counterparts. The only problem lies in the use of technology. If the same technology that is adapted by the western countries in their training is adopted in our countries, then we would be the ones who would be on the top of the list of the best countries be it in any sport.
Japan, & Korea have showed immense talent and courage and their game was purely disciplined and composed, which was missing in most of the teams.

Soccer is a no contact sport and relies on skill and speed. Filipinos would do very well at it as has the Pacman who relies on skill and speed to conquer larger and stronger opponents.
