Do you believe in Old Wives Tales?

Every country have their share of old wives tales. For example, do not sit on the threshold of your house at 6.00 pm, godess of wealth will not come inside instead return...hahhaha....then there's another one...do not sit or stamp a pillow, otherwise the fellow using it will have head ache....and so on....my friends do share your knowledge and significance if you know.

There is also a belief that,don't clean the house when it is already dark,it will also bring badluck or will stop the good luck from coming.
Another one is,don't sing in front of the oven or while cooking,esp if you are a ldy or single,or else,you will marry an old widow(man).
I don't believe such old wives tale or beliefs.
It is just mindsetting that makes the old people believe with those tales.
