House Republicans are questioning Kagan's involvement in filing the law suit against Arizona. There is a good chance this case could make it to the Supreme Court. Would your opinion of her nomination change if she did help write the suit?

Herro laglen My, my, I usually stay away from politics, however upon looking for a no response discussion, I got to pg 23...I think...and this one piqued my curiosity. I don't remember when Kagen filed the lawsuit. Had she been nominated yet? Regardless of the timeline, when she filed the lawsuit against Arizona, she was performing her current job as Solicitor General. The administration appears to feel strongly about this issue, thus as a representative of the administration she was performing her job. When (if) her job changes, she will perform those responsibilities. I believe she is capable of transitioning from one job to another. Prosperous mylotting

I believe she was drafting as BO was talking to her. Her confirmation hearing is happening as we speak. There are some legitimate questions there, but I believe she will be confirmed.

Herro laglen I'm not sure she will confirmed. My husband told me she was answering questions with "I'm not familiar with that policy". That is not an answer for a prospective Supreme Court Judge. I might say, I'm not familiar, I will get the answer. Prosperous mylotting

But I do believe they have enough party line votes. She could say we need to resurrect the Nazis and probably be confirmed!
