I am a crime show freak. I used to work security and actually thought about becoming a police officer at one point. Crime and mystery shows satisfy my need for puzzles to solve even if I don't figure it out before the "detective" does. I have a list of shows that I watch regularly online, usually at Fancast. At one point I had watched all the episodes of these shows that Fancast had so I was hunting for a new show to watch. This is when I discovered a show called "DaVinci's Inquest". The setting is Vancouver, BC (Canada) and is about a coroner so not all his cases are crime cases. Fancast has two seasons listed and most of the shows I really didn't enjoy all that much. I didn't like most of the main characters, including the cops, so I really just watched both seasons out of curiosity, just to see if any of the episodes would prove to be worth watching. Well, I did find one. The episode's title was "The Lottery". It was so brilliant, I have watched it maybe a half dozen times and my daughter and I quote it on a regular basis. You can watch it at the following url: http://www.fancast.com/tv/Da-Vinci-s-Inquest/96443/1047935857/The-Lottery/videos "And an all-night wake to keep the banshees away!" I love it! Now, I had never heard of this show before...have any of you, my fellow mylotters? What do you think of it? I think the main reason I continued to watch it was because of the locale. It was almost as good as something from home...BC is very much like southeast Alaska.

I like crime shows like CSI and other shows which I only watch but didn't remember the title quite exactly, like Bones and LAPD? The way they represent the stories make me like to watch them and it seems addictive especially when I don't have much things to do at the moment. I can sit for three hours straight or more if I am free and watch the CSI series. I love three of them the same, the Miami, New York and Las Vegas series.

Hmmmm...well, I like CSI Las Vegas and New York but don't really care for Miami. Bones is definitely on my list as well as Lie to Me and NCIS (the original with Mark Harmon). I love the forensics side of crime fighting. Many years ago I was faithful every week to watch Quincy, M.E. and loved Jack Klugman in that role. I also adore all the Law and Order series varieties. This particular series is interesting for the forensics but the episode I listed above is brilliant as they play this guy so well! You have to see it to appreciate it. We never tire of this episode and it always makes us laugh.
