I just finished watching this movie Across The Universe and it's a very beautiful movie. Most of the soundtrack are consist of Beatles' songs. And I love their rendition. If you have time, please do watch it.
Well, I love all their songs but more particularly - Hey, Jude. I felt it in my heart so much because it's filled with hope. And yes I am a hopeless romantic so that's it.
Next is, Dear Prudence. Maybe in a way - it speaks about inferiority. The song lifted my sorrows away and it's a beautiful song. It's also about someone giving you encouragement in life and a lot of my family and friends and mylot friends and even random strangers in the streets. =)
I could go on and on but first, I'd love to hear from you guys. Happy my lotting! =)
Cheers. =)

I remember my aunt humming those songs while cleaning the backyard. LOL. It was a great childhood memory plus I love the music influence from my uncles too.

For me it has to be 'Its been a hard day's night'... I feel I'm working so hard throughout the day, when I get home the emotions are exactly like that song, sans the pampering by the spouse
...I could just fall on the bed and snore away

The Beatles had so many great songs. If i could choose one to be, it would definitely have to be "Let It Be!" This is my favorite Beatles tune. I just feel good sabout life and myself after hearing this song and I csn't help singing along.

True. When this was sang in the movie Across The Universe - the scene was in the middle of the war and it was really touching because you could feel the pain and all sorts of hurt yet remained hopeful. I love this song, too. =)

It's hard for me to pick what beatles song I'll be because I love all their songs lol but I have always loved I WILL, A Hard Day's Night lol because I worked so hard during the night shift lol, All My Loving, All You Need Is Love, And I Love Her, Do You Want To Know A Secret, From Me To You, If I Fell and In My Life lol...that's quite a lot. Well even though I was still non existent when the beatles was famous I grew up listening to their music because my father was a huge beatles fan and everytime he was around he would be playing those songs.

Yes. All you need is love. And I love her (whenever i listen to this - it breaks my heart).
That's okay though. I, myself can't pick just one song. I love a lot of the songs from them and whenever I get to listen to them somewhere, it will always make me smile.

How are you totallyundecided? I got a lot of songs/album collections of "Beatles", even my father had also done the same too (do you remember the small/big color black plastic and round records and some were long playing albums during 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's?). My father loves Beatles, he was just on his teenage days when this phenomenal Boy Band captured popularity not only in United Kingdom (from the very start of their singing career) but to Hollywood and even extended to other parts of the entire world. They are versatile and fantastic band garnering top place/no. 1 in the recent popularity survey of the most influential Boy Bands of the History in the U.K. (next to them is Westlife). I really love them performing as well in concerts... I don't like choosing only one song because I love all their songs, their music up to now is so fascinating yet alluring to people from all walks of life... But whenever I hear "Lean On Me" (original version song of Beatles) I feel something unusual emotion, I used to relate on that song.

It's one of the good songs that really touched my heart. Maybe because I can relate to it a lot with many friends.

this discussion reminded me of one of my favorite song ever: "In My Life" of the Beatles..it typically talks about a love and the people & places we've love in the past..i can definitely relate to this song because i often stop and think about my past too and i have a specific person that i love more than all the people in my past..

Let It Be and Hey Jude, I was very much eager to play the guitar with these
songs long during my high school days...
"Across The Universe" by the way was revived and as far as I know the guitarist
was John Lennon's son. The song has a deep meaning. Jai guru deva om

my favorite beatle's song is two of us. but if i am a beatle's song then i maybe the yellow submarine. its a song about listening from other people's life and learning through that. you listen to someones life and you are like traveling with them. when i was younger we had a neighbor who was a sea man and everytime we see him there is his house he calls us and tell stories.

It's a beautiful song. And i love them. I listened to it when I was a kid. One time though, I get to be in this bar who has some artist to play in acoustic and this one band made an acoustic of yellow submarine. It was a slow and acoustic. Like when you hear it, it's like hearing a romantic song.
One of my favorite songs too from them. =) Though before I could never see it that way, that yellow submarine is about learning other people's life because I was in tuned with their melody which is quite jolly. =)

It's so hard for me to pick a favorite beatles song because their catalog is so big and they have so many amazing songs. If I had to pick one to be though it'd be "I've Just Seen A Face." I absolutely adore the song (not crazy about the one in Across The Universe though) and it's essentially about new love and love at first sight. It's a great song and I adore it.

Hey, hey, hey! I guess you're the romantic type. =) It's a very good song too when it comes to expresses love. =)
Their rendition in Across The Universe is not that bad. But I still prefer the original version. :D

i love beatles. Almost all their songs are up lifting, meaningful and beautiful. So I got to pick one, well if i'm a beatle song I would be "all you need is love", it's a beautiful song, a very good message in it, promotes love, that's why I like it, because I wanna spread love to the world. Thanks for the topic, much respect
