Audi A4 won't start,immobiliser cuts the engine out

Car has been back to Audi three times now.1st they carried out a reader coil modification,this last about two months.2nd time fitted a new coil & lasted about 6 months.3rd time(yesterday) modified wiring by fitting heat shrink to screen the wires.I don't have any confidence in the car now,any ideas on a definite fix ?
