Latest news on my animal mad son in law, things get worse!!

after him practising putting a nappy (diaper) on his guinea pig yesterday today he has come downstairs to find 20 baby mice in the cage with the 2 'male' fancy mice he has recently bought - and the other 'male' looking decidedly fat and ready to provide another 20 at any time!!
They thought it was just my daughter expecting!!
Have you ever had a 'male' animal turn out to be female with such disasterous results?

Hi Oldchem, Strange that even theanimals are oregnant, coming out in sympathy with your daughter lol. I had two cats Bon and Sophie and when I booked them in to get done at the vets it turned out that Sopihie was a boy too lol, recently one of the baby rabbitsthat wethought was female and wasgoing to letlive in same hutch as themum turned out to be a boy instead so separate hutches now. Huggles. Ellie :D

I have not mistaken females for males in animals, but on the other hand, I had a stray kitten, with very long fur, who I thought was a female. I kept her. Hubby thought she was a girl. When we had her six months we made an appointment to have her spayed--turns out she was a he so we had him neutered instead.

If hubby comes home with Mice when I get pregnant, he's gonna turn back around and take them back where they came from! I don't care how much he claims they're both girls!
