What we can do for poor and what we did for them?

The poverty will remain there as long as God still giving the wealth to the people. God create the poverty with the aim so that we always be able share and mutual respect among us.

that question has been wandering my mind for years. I think the least thing we can do is do outreach activities.. Have joined several activities. the first time I joined was when we send can goods to Bagobo people and clothes. We walked for 6 hours to reach their place, so 12 hours back in forth.. they live in mountains and just depend on their gardens for food. they don't have medicines their and the children don't go to school.. it was very tiring yet very satisfying. some activities were done at adoption centers and home for the aged. be blessed! :)

we can find out if they have family or friends some may have family and friends in a different state and just do not have the money or means to get home to them and their family and friends do not have the means to help them get home to them so we can offer programs such as this to help them get home i sort of in this situations but i have a low paying job thank god and am saving to get home to family and friends i have a car i need to get fixed 600 hunderd dollars people say get rid of your car but i need it for my job and i will have a job when i get there i have two shih tzu doggies who i will never part with they need it to get home so i think a program that helps the poor to get home would be a good thing if they are far away from family and friends

There are things I do, although I don´t know if that´s all I can do. I don´t overuse my share of the Earth´s bounty. I recycle, eat my leftovers, plant a bveggie garden, put off the lights when not in a room. I use warm clothes in Winter so as to not use so much heating and don´t use AC in Summer. I donate by simply using the freerice.com site to help with rice for the 2 billion people who are undernourished. I try to teach other people to live better. I have taught many poor people to eat well spending less.

The best thing we can do for them, especially if our circumstances are just a tad better then theirs is when you do progress financially never forget the under fortunate under you and lend a hand whenever you can. Donate a bit to local shelters instead of discarding old unwanted items and so forth. This way you will always feel like you have done your best.
