yeah, you know I seldom cry while viewing movies, but on this case I end up shedding tears in some moments most especially when he was finally hired with the company he applied with. What a great movie it is.

Pursuit of Happyness is a disturbing movie. You get to watch a person go through life in such desperate conditions without breaking.
Even if the movie had a happy ending, the movie can really shake you up a bit because you can feel yourself breaking at some point of the story. For instance, I know I'd break trying to spend the night in the subway toilet. It is such a pitiful condition.
Anyway, I'm just surprised that the hero in the story could be so alone at that point in his life. He only has one "friend" to turn to when his wife left him. It just seems that a salesman with no connection seems a bit odd. But then again, this is just a movie.

Will Smith had truly earned him the title of "Actor" in this movie. He had proven himself great as a comedian and as an action star but he was even greater in portraying his role in Pursuit of Happiness.
The said movie had touched my life so much because I can relate to the extreme difficulties his character had undergone. After watching it, it made me realize that I'm still blessed that in spite of hardship, I still have a roof over our heads and my family still gets to eat 3 square meals a day.
I just hope and pray that I will have a great next chapter in my life that is similar to the ending of the movie. I know that perseverance and God's grace, everything will turn out fine.
