Can you whistle?

Hi eileenleyva!. Luckily I can whistle . sometimes I whistle I when I alone and feel happy inside . At my home only me and my dad who can Whistle, the other member can not.

I can whistle with my lips and it is not very strong.

I'm 53 years old and still can' whistle. However, my granddaughter who is only 4 years of age seems to have no problem. She says her parents taught her how to do it. I remember last year when she tired for the first time and couldn't. Now that she can she is constantly saying "did you hear how loud that whistle was grandma?"

whistling is fun events and I think everyone can do it as long as he wants to continue practicing. Maybe your son is less vigorous exercise. I do not really like whistling, but sometimes I also whistled to eliminate loneliness

Hi dear, Yes, I can do it. I learned it at the age of 10, I think. I was watching a drama on the ground on a Sunday night. There was a long break after one scene and people became impatient. The crowed started making noise and restless. Even I heard whistling sounds. I tried to make, and it sounded good. Then I tried again and again. Ok, nice. I felt comfortable and proud. Slowly got improve. Now different voices and many ways I can make the whistle sounds. Regards, Thank-s

I sure can , i can whistle really well.Before i could not whistle at all but kept trying over and over and i taught my brain to do it.Its not hard at all to do , most people should be able to do it , then again mabyee some are physically unable to before the activity of whistling which is a shame is it is a lot of fun and cheers you and others around you up.

I think this is just something some people can do and others can't..I have tried for years to whistle and still can not, at least not in the way to whistle a tune. I did teach myself to cat whistle I guess you call it by putting my fingers in my mouth which works great to get a stray puppy that got loose back home. My dad could whistle and my husband says he can, but he doesn't. I like to hear someone whistle a tune, I think it's cool...:)

Damn yes, I can. But I don't whistle when there are girls around. I often whistle when I am alone. Sometimes I even whistle an entire song if I feel like. My friends used to say that my whistle sounds more melodious than my songs. I don't know yet if they meant that my voice is not good or if they liked my whistle more. i most certainly can. i think i was six years old when i just learned how, i blew and blew until sound came out. i can even do it by sucking in air. i think it has to do with the curvature of the tongue. however, i can't whistle really loudly...you know, the kind which requires you to put your thumb and index finger in your mouth.

No, not everybody can whistle. I for one can't. It's not a big deal
