Are you forgetful or to put more tactfully, you have selective memory.

I note often times I have friends, working colleagues and acquaintances who often say "Oh, I forgot!" as an excuse or a reason for NOT getting things done.
Do you think it is a case of true forgetfulness or something more than that, like a real health risk. Does it affect your dealings with this person or you look on sympathetically.

I am very forgetful sometimes, I think it's not really a medical problem. I learnt in meditation that we can remember anything we want, even our past lives, if we concentrate enough. Maybe the point is to keep a clear mind.
I think I have caused some inconvenieces to people because of my forgetfulness and I feel very sorry for that. Each time I tell myself, I will not do that again, but sometimes I forget again and do the same old thing all over.

hi bmp, i think I don't need to remember my past lives (haha!!). But I do recall that not being considerate or not remembering stuff that matters leave one with few friends.
